American Routine

For the second year in a row, the Heartland Twisters have been invited back to perform their renowned American routine at the Carthage Saddle Club PRCA rodeo.

The team would like to send special thanks to Tim Fuller, PRCA announcer, for his wonderful words of praise at the end of our performance.

"I've been announcing rodeos for 21 years. Ladies, that was the most AWESOME patriotic drill team I have ever seen!"

American Routine

The Heartland Twisters were specially selected to perform at the Ultimate Horseman's Challenge Association's equine expo "Dancin' in the Dirt" held at the Kansas Expocentre in Topeka, KS.

The Twisters closed down the house by performing their renowned American routine, paying tribute to all our armed forces.

National Anthem 

The Heartland Twisters were specially selected to perform at the Ultimate Horseman's Challenge Association's equine expo "Dancin' in the Dirt" held at the Kansas Expocentre in Topeka, KS. 

The Twisters started the evening by presenting colors for the National Anthem.

84th American Royal Parade

1st Place - Adult Saddle Club!

The Heartland Twisters Drill Team rode in the 84th American Royal Parade themed "Educating Youth - Riding for a Reason."

The first year traveling to Kansas City, MO the Twisters took 1st place in the adult saddle club division. The entire parade had 128 entries, 22 being horse units.

The Heartland Twisters introduced their new long performance at the Hepler URA/MRCA Rodeo on July 3, 2009. This 5 - 6 minute routine features the Twisters performing precision manuvers to up beat country/rock music.
